The exhibition consists of two parts – a personal exhibition of the artist Sergeyev Sergey (painting, objects) and an archival exhibition dedicated to 23 years of D137 activity.
Sergey Sergeev is the famous artist of the St. Petersburg underground and one of the founders of the D137 ( autobiography and the works of Sergeyev Sergey can be found here
http://www.d137.ru/?page_id=1232&lang=ru ). The « Freedom from actual» project is dedicated to fixation of perceptional changes of surrounding environment by contemporaries, who have lost their ability to understand and to receive the pleasure from contemplating an image.
D137 positions itself as a club that deals not only with «actual art», therefore the exhibition title is quite logical and for the archive part, telling about the D137 and the artists with whom the gallery worked. The archival part of the exhibition will feature works by famous artists and musicians who are prominent representatives of the generation of the 90s, as well as the video films «All About D137» and «Pirate Television» with the participation of Vladislav Mamyshev-Monroe.

D137 Art club presented a new book by Professor Viktor Pavlovich Samohvalov “Social psychopathology” Victor Samohvalov well known scholar of psychiatry, anthropology, culturology. He lived and worked in the Crimea, now is the professor of psychosocial Richmond Fellowship of the Czech Republic. He wrote a lot of scientific papers, novel end published poetry collection.
On November 17, a discussion was held in the DC Gromov with the support of the D137 Art Club as part of the St. Petersburg Cultural Forum, dedicated to collecting contemporary art and creating a collectors club.

On October 2, an exhibition of Sergey Sergeev’s new works entitled “Freedom from the Actual” opened at the Art Club D137 on Rubinshtein Street. In November, as part of the exhibition, will be a presentation of a new book by Professor V.P. Samokhvalov “Social psychopathology”, illustrated by Sergeev Sergey’s works presented in D137.

On May 27, the day of our city, the Social Club will host a presentation of the book-catalog “D137” by Olga Osterberg, director and founder of the legendary St. Petersburg gallery of contemporary art D137.
Editions that include an overview of the gallery’s events from 1996 to 2018, as well as stories about artists, musicians and interesting people who were its guests.
The host of the evening is a well-known journalist and music critic Artemy Troitsky.
